FRITZ HANSEN
Since it was founded in 1872, Fritz Hansen, a historic Danish company, has always been adopting the philosophy of creating and manufacturing furniture with the highest project-related content by using top quality only. Many of its products have gone down in the history of design, including the Serie 7 and Formica chairs as well as the Uovo and Cigno armchairs of great renown, which arouse out of a multi-year cooperation with Arne Jacobsen in the ‘50ies, and the exclusive series designed by Poul Kjaerholm. The enormous good quality of these products is their eternal contemporary character. They are collected in the most prestigious museums as well as known and sold all over the world till today.
Besides producing its most famous pieces, Fritz Hansen has got the great merit of renewing and revitalising its collections as much as twice a year by reinventing and updating them with new finishes and by adding new innovative projects by cooperating with well-established and newly emerging designers.
